Retail Cup Cook - 2nd shift

To ensure continuous and efficient cooking & mixing of food products.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Follow safe working practices at all times
  • Follow the company GMP’s
  • Follow recipes and mixing instructions accurately 
  • Mix and cook ingredients
  • Check for required level of viscosity for each batch 
  • Plan ahead all activities to reduce downtime
  • Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues, errors or changes
  • Take instructions from supervisors
  • Any other tasks deemed reasonable and reasonably requested by management
  • Check quality of prepared product
  • Document exact results
  • Test samples of food items where appropriate
  • Ability to regularly stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Assemble goods when necessary
  • Operate relevant equipment
  • Clean equipment
  • Be flexible and proactive in order to be able to perform tasks effectively

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 1 year of manufacturing experience preferably in the food industry 
  • Experience working in temperature controlled settings
  • Proven track record in safe working practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed for working in a team environment 
  • Ability to work all scheduled shifts, on time
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Ability to work in fast speed environment
