Customer Service Representative

Job Summary

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE PROVIDES OUTSTANDING, FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE FOR ALL KETTLE CUISINE TEAM MEMBERS AND CUSTOMERS.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide exemplary customer service to both our internal teams and customers
  • Work directly with customers and sales team to share accurate information
  • Effectively resolve customer inquiries
  • Assist in educating customers and executing Kettle Cuisine's terms and conditions
  • Process orders promptly and efficiently
  • Provide administrative support to Operations Manager, Purchasing Manager and other CSR's
  • Respond to any major service disruptions and provide direction and support
  • Collaborate with all levels/departments representing the 'voice' of the customer
  • Monitoring and directing in bound inquiries to the proper party within the company
  • Data Entry- process up to 50 + orders daily
  • EDI processing and customer set up
  • Corroborate correct and updated pricing with accounting and sales team
  • Send order updates and confirmations
  • Assist carriers with receiving issues and file/track claims
  • Order tracking
  • Short lead Support and processing
  • Work with QA, carrier and sales to ensure proper TTR handling
  • Process purchase order recovery
  • Communicate to customer any order changes, including shorts and date changes
  • Conduct outbound courtesy calls
  • Process/Ship sample requests
  • Provide administrative support
  • Demonstrate commitment to accuracy
  • Works independently to prioritize and process orders
  • Perform follow up to ensure customer satisfaction via phone and email
  • Create a positive atmosphere of professionalism and support.
  • Comfortable working on multiple tasks calmly and efficiently in a busy work environment

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service and/or food industry
  • Demonstrated excellence in driving consistently strong profitable sales growth
  • Experienced working with ERP systems
  • Excellent prioritization and planning skills
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word
  • Financial and business acumen
