Sanitation Worker

PRIMARY PURPOSE

 To completely clean and sanitize food manufacturing facility to USDA standards in order to ensure proper food safety standards for product safety to our customers/consumers.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Clean all equipment in facility- including both food contact and non-food contact surfaces: packaging, cooking and facility equipment using different chemical and cleaning techniques.

·         Disassemble and reassemble equipment for thorough sanitation.

·         Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.

·         Adhere to personal safety and chemical safety standards.

·         All employees are responsible for upholding the principles of SQF 2000- Global Food Safety Initiative.

  

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -

All employees are responsible for immediately reporting any food safety, food quality, or plant security issues to management for appropriate action.

 LEVEL 1:

·         Perform all the janitorial duties

·         Be able to clean and operate trash compactor, compost compactor, barrel crusher and cardboard compactor

LEVEL 2:

             ·         Be able to perform all job assignments of Level 1 above.

·         Perform all equipment cleaning in the plant  for all the departments

·         Participate in preparing equipment for pre operational inspection level

·         Able to complete tasks with desirable speed and accuracy

 LEVEL 3:

·         Be able to perform all job assignments of Level 2 above.

·         Perform all the post operational inspections and pre-operational inspections.

·         Be able to work all the functions of tanks operations

·         Perform all the data entry on the daily basis

·         Be able to perform the tasks of Sanitation Lead in his/her absence.
