Production Supervisor - First Shift

Kettle Cuisine - Bonewerks was founded in 1998 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Today, we are known as the industry leader in kettle cooked sauce and exceptional sous vide meat products. Our Kettle Operators produce our sauces in open kettles and these chefs carefully monitor every batch to deliver our very best quality every time.

Duties and Responsibilities of Job:

  • Manage and direct the activities of 20 production employees.
  • Communicate effectively with management and other supervisors regarding safety, quality and production.
  • Ensure production meets food safety guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Perform HACCP, GMP and Sanitation duties and paperwork in a timely manner
  • Act as a liaison between the USDA and our company.
  • Ability to stand throughout scheduled shift and perform physical labor as needed
  • Ensure production schedule is being met in specified timeline
  • Operate equipment as needed
  • Ability to take apart and put together equipment’s/ materials
  • Perform Sanitation CIP’s as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Verify monitoring activities assigned
  • Verifying the chart recorder to when it reaches >190°F
  • Collect CCP chart recorders daily after the end of the production day
  • Checking and documenting in-line protective devices between batches (strainer and magnet)
  • Collect CCP chart recorders daily after the end of the production day
  • Monitor accumulation of trash in processing area and notify non-production personnel when trash needs to be picked up.
  • Additional responsibilities as required

Qualifications and Experience

  • Good interpersonal & communication skills (oral and written) and ability to interact and communicate effectively with employees at all levels  
  • Able to follow all HACCP policies and guidelines
  • Knowledgeable of CCPs & CQPs
  • Knowledgeable of SSOPs
  • The ability to understand and monitor what task are needed to maintain quality and safety in the production process
