Maintenance Parts Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage, organize overall maintenance parts and materials inventory
- Work with sites CMMs and update any changes made with parts, inventory, or bill of materials into the CMMS
- Establish inventory levels and conduct periodic inventory evaluations
- Kitting and organizing parts for work order request and PM’s into bins
- Responsible for ordering and receiving parts or materials
- Maintain Bill of Materials for all site equipment
- Work closely with the maintenance planner and provide updates for parts on order
- Responsible for maintaining all parts storage locations clean and organized daily
- Responsible for purchase requisitions for shop supplies and spare parts
- Emailing and calling vendors to request supplies and parts quotes from multiple vendors
- Responsible for assuring all parts being checked out are assigned to a work order
- Responsible for tracking daily parts spend and PO (Purchase Orders) issued to vendors
- Responsible for notifying the Maintenance planner when there is a purchase over $2,000 dollars and wait for approval
- Responsible for communicating any changes within the parts department to the maintenance staff through email or meetings
- Move recently received packages from receiving areas to the parts room, then label and organize all parts into their respective areas, notifying relevant parties of arrival
- All other duties assigned by the Maintenance planner as needed
Required Skills
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in inventory control.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Be able to work independently with moderate supervision

Physical Requirements
- Requires handling of objects that can weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Walking, sitting, standing and climbing stairs and ladders.
- Responsibilities may require an adjusted work schedule, overtime or weekend hours to support equipment and plant maintenance.
Compensation: $24.00-$28.00/hr. (DOE)
