Label Specialist

Job Summary
Responsible for daily picking, staging and organizing of product labels, and counting and returning labels to storage locations.
Also responsible for printing case labels for finished product cases.
This role is part of an essential team that ensures production supplies and labels have sufficient supply and tracking and management of product and case labels.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate equipment in a safe manner in accordance with OEM guidelines.
- Completes scheduled label picking, staging, and printing as assigned.
- Maintains material demand and usage records.
- Return ingredients and packaging supplies back to proper storage locations after usage.
- Effectively complete all of the above-mentioned tasks through an ERP application and/ or excel.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area, including label cages and surrounding areas.
- Maintain strong working relations with warehouse and operations leads.

- Monitor the accuracy of inventory locations and tags
- Effectively communicate inventory discrepancies and other issues to lead and manager as appropriate
- Practice safe forklift operating procedures
- Maintain food safety practices
- Other duties as required
Required Skills
- Forklift or reach truck certification- or ability to get one.
- Strong communication skills
- Self motivated
- Good organizational skills and detail oriented
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to use ERP system and scanners.
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to stand and walk up to 2/3 of working time
- Ability to work in cold environment (Cooler, Freezer)
Desired Skills
- Two years of administrative experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Exceptional with auditing details.
- Good communication skills including computer, writing, and verbal
- Ability to understand and verbally express ideas and instructions effectively
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with others
- Ability to prioritize, follow instructions and follow-through to achieve results

Pay Range for Label Specialist
The Label Specialist base pay range 22.00-24.00/hourly. The listed salary range represents Kettle Cuisine’s good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries for the Everett, WA location only. Ranges will be reviewed on a regular basis. An employee’s rate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. The Label Specialist position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package.
