Facilities Technician

Role and Responsibilities

a.      Facilities Maintenance

                            I.          Track and complete all necessary tasks needed to manage the upkeep of the company’s facilities.

                          II.          Manage facilities contractor relations pertaining to scheduling and facilitating onsite work.

                         III.          Manage routine PM work as assigned.

                        IV.          Key Actions are listed below but not limited to:

o   Plan/coordinate weekly work schedule based on actions escalated by the site team and weekly/monthly PMs assigned per the Annual Facility Inspection Schedule.

o   Ensure all interior lighting within the facility is functioning properly.

o   Ensure all windows and man doors are sealed and functioning properly.

o   Restroom upkeep is maintained, and all fixtures are in working order.

o   General painting as needed, including equipment, interior and exterior.

o   Gates/Fences and general exterior site security is in working order.

o   Parking lot is kept clear of debris, including snow/ice.

o   Coordinates with suppliers for extensive repairs, quoting, and oversite.

o   Oversees Projects as assigned.

 

b.      Support Site with facility improvements driven by site walks with insight on areas of expertise.

Qualifications and Experience

c.       Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant facilities/maintenance experience in industrial/commercial facilities, property management.

d.      General indoor and outdoor repair and maintenance experience.

e.      Good interpersonal & communication skills (oral and written) and ability to interact and communicate effectively with employees at all levels.  

f.       Knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, and power point programs.

Compensation:  $21.00-$25.00/ hour (DOE)
