Data Entry Clerk

Carry out various administrative tasks required for day-to-day operations in the warehouse. Such tasks may include managing dock schedules, processing sales orders and receiving inventory. Each process will require keeping and archiving relevant documents organized and accessible for future reference. Good communication skills and following clear guidelines will be vital in maintaining smooth operations.
Role and Responsibilities
Manage scheduling appointments for inbound and outbounds loads
Process transactions for sales orders to maintain accurate inventory levels
Use ERP system to gather information for inquiries
Organize, file, and digitize all documentation to keep it accessible for future reference
Performs data entry ensuring accuracy and format consistency.
Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered.
Review records for accuracy and completeness
Ensure filing and digitizing of all completed paperwork.
Run reports of available inventory to facilitate picking
Input all items received into inventory
Answer calls for appointments request and follow up on appointment delays
Qualifications and Experience
Previous related work experience or 1-3 years of administrative or clerical experience or
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to understand and follow instructions precisely
Computer skills – extensive knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to learn in-house inventory system (Ross)
Good organizational skills
Proficient in basic arithmetic
Effective time management skills
High level of personal initiative, self-driven, action and results oriented
Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, generates enthusiasm and builds effective working
relationships and teams at all levels, with both internal and external customers
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
