Mike Illum Executive Vice President of Sales

If you were a Kettle Cuisine soup, which one would you be?
Chicken Tortilla. Just a little spicy:)
Who or what do you find inspiration from?
I find my inspiration from my children. They challenge your every move.
What is your favorite kitchen utensil or appliance?
Spatula. Can't make a great burger without it. I'm not the chef in my house, but I can grill with the best of them.
What ingredient do you most often use in your home cooking?
Eggs. Great add to any meal.
What is your earliest childhood memory that speaks to your love of making or eating food?
It would have to be the Iowa Chop. It's a very thick cut of the pork chop. Being from Iowa that was a great meal. Very good memories with the family. It was always a treat.
What is your all time favorite food indulgence?
I'm going to have to say Mexican. I love going to authentic Mexican restaurants while I'm on the road. You can't get that much in Philadelphia. When I travel to LA or Texas I usually take advantage.
